I had been looking for the right Nissan Elgrand for a couple of months without success. After visiting a number of importers, came across MHH cars, who had a number of superb Elgrands in stock and from first contact demonstrated a highly professional no pressure selling experience.
The vehicle I eventually purchased was exactly what I had been searching for; a high spec grade 4B vehicle in factory original condition with all relevant paperwork at a fair price.

Excellent service from Chris, Sam and Alistair when purchasing my imported Nissan Elgrand HWS at good quality and at reasonable price, with 12 months warranty. They are a clearly a good team, and when Alistair, the MD, says “He is actually in the business to provide a service, and a happy customer is so satisfying” you tend to believe him. The company is ably supported by good local suppliers for service and maintenance, and any after sales issues are dealt with in a really prompt and understanding manner. Highly recommended.
Very knowledgeable about the vehicle in question, (Nissan Elgrand). Basically, they told me the whole history of my vehicle right up to it arriving at their centre. Vehicles are in ‘tip top’ condition, registered, MOT’d and all with validated mileage. A quick and friendly experience from start to finish…very impressed.
Really excellent service from Chris. Exactly the kind of salesman you want to deal with - enthusiastic about his product but honest and knowledgeable. The cars themselves are in superb condition and perfect for my particular needs (spacious vehicle for moving mountain bikes and surfboards, camping, family ski trips, touring, etc). Why anyone would buy a T5 when you could have one of these at a fraction of the price I've no idea.

They care about the vehicles they are selling, even as a novice to buying a vehicle of this type I felt able to make an informed decision based on the information they provided. Excellent service these guys know what they are doing and they look very carefully at the cars they buy in, all cherry picked by hand in Japan by pros on the ground. Three years on I Still love my Honda Elysion they sourced, it’s a real gem, no rust rot or horrors just a very clean honest car. Would definitely recommend and reuse.

AJ and his team were very helpful and the Toyota Alphard was well prepared, fully serviced and exactly as described. I collected it on a Wednesday and drove to France on the Friday, it performed perfectly for the whole 1200 mile trip. Couldn't recommend them more highly!
I have never come across such a decent garage with stunning cars and a truly honest owner. The cars are prepped to perfection and they drive superbly. I went there today today with the intention of buying one, but sadly I am just too tall to be comfortable. Nevertheless, had I fitted in I would have made a purchase. You will not be disappointed.

We had been searching for a Nissan Elgrand Rider Autech for a while with certain specifications, and from the very first time of speaking with Alistair and his team we knew we were in safe hands... MHH sourced a Nissan Elgrand for us from Japan and shipped it to the UK. Alistair went through how the whole process worked and was very honest and transparent with pricing. He found us a great car within our budget and keep us informed on our cars progress along the way. What sets them apart I would say is the brilliant communication, they would always get back to me straight away and patiently answered my many many questions! They are friendly, extremely well organised and professional, everything was documented and processed quickly. From looking at their other cars, it looks like they only import high grade cars and make sure that any work needed is done to the highest standard. We recently purchased a 2008 Nissan Elgrand from MHH Japanese Cars after a long search for a newly imported vehicle. MHH did not disappoint, we dealt with Alistair who we found to be helpful & friendly and who was able to answer all the questions that we threw at him however obscure they were!
We had some modifications carried out which conveniently took place next door to the MHH office so the process felt very slick & hassle free. We were kept fully informed of time frames & costing for the work so had no nasty surprises along the way. This work included a rear de- cat & underseal both of which we have had no issues with.
Overall, an excellent service all round & I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend MHH to anyone looking for a Japanese import.
I would rarely buy a car from a dealer but never have I bought from a dealer and had the thought that I would go back for another. This dealership is different.
I dealt with Alistair regularly over the course of 3 months (waiting for import) and found him to be very upfront and honest, attentive to my concerns, personable and generous.
Alistair was extremely confident in the quality of stock of their cars because they only buy grade 4 (out of 5) at auction so you will never receive tarted up rubbish from MHH.
I did my research and using the VIN number, got an independent online report on the vehicle showing all its history, mileage and many photos of the vehicle over the years leading up to its import. Everything checked out well.
I put a sizeable deposit down with the assurance that if, for whatever reason, I didn't like the car when I saw it, I could have it straight back
Alistair took all of the stress out of searching for the right vehicle. If ever I had any queries, Alistair always got back to me quickly. I spoke to his business partner, Chris, very briefly once or twice, and whilst I'm sure he's lovely and very hardworking... 😉

We bought an improved Toyota Alphard from MHH recently and would recommend them of buying an import. The car was described perfectly and have been more than happy with it. They are happy to answer any questions and put our mind at rest on the questions we had
Very professional, diligent and careful. MHH have been handling vehicle exports around the world for a long time and have just started to bring Japanese MPVs into the UK. Car is very high quality, all documentation seems correct, everything in order. The car was found pre-sale to have a fault with its amplifier and the guys swiftly came to a resolution. MHH are supported technically by NBA Sportscars (of Top Gear fame!) next door, who serviced the car pre-delivery, carried out undersealing, and were very happy to talk me through some technical questions. Oh, and Dunsfold is a very pleasant day out too! You might see some secret McLarens on the test track if you time it right.
I would like to thank Chris and the team MHH Japanese Cars for their professionalism and assistance and make the purchase of the Nissan Elgrand easy.
